 has cancelled the 2008 Michigan H.O.G. Rendezvous.

 

 

 

 

The 25^th year of the Michigan Harley-Davidson Dealers Association’s Michigan HOG Rendezvous, previously scheduled for July 8^th through the 13^th, 2008, has been cancelled.  For those who have enjoyed this nearly week long camping and riding event, we truly regret this move. Ray Clemans, President of the Michigan Harley-Davidson Dealers Association announced that several factors contributed to this decision.  Recent economic challenges with this event combined with an increase in the number of motorcycle events in Michigan, the expected high  participation in the 105^th Anniversary Celebration in Milwaukee, and consideration of a new direction of motorcycle event support, all led to this decision.  As we evaluate the concept of supporting or creating lower cost week-end events, we thank those who have supported and enjoyed the Michigan Rendezvous over the years.  “Rest assured,” said Ray Clemens, “that the Michigan Harley-Davidson Dealers Association will continue to look for ways to support Michigan riders and H.O.G. members in their efforts to “Ride and have fun”.
